Jennifer Aniston to make TV comeback in 30 Rock
Jennifer Aniston is set to make a TV comeback on hit US comedy 30 Rock.
The former Friends star, who recently split from singer John Mayer, will feature in a behind-the-scenes spoof of a sketch show, according to The Sun.
The guest-spot will only be Aniston’s second appearance on TV since Friends finished in 2004. The star once featured in former co-star Courteney Cox’s show, Dirt, where the pair enjoyed a sizzling smooch.
The hit comedy has won a Golden Globe and an Emmy, and is shown in the US on NBC – the very same channel that launched Friends.
And Jennifer isn’t the only Friend to appear on the show. David Schwimmer, who played Aniston’s love interest, the goofy Ross, made a 30 Rock guest appearance as Jared – an actor hired to play a superhero.
The second series of 30 Rock starts on Five this year, starring Tina Fey as producer Liz Lemon and Alec Baldwin as her boss.
