These are the best fashion advertising campaigns for the season ahead...

The fashion world is, as ever, already asking what’s next, and so it seems the designers have been quicker than ever to release their AW16 advertising campaigns.

From riots on the streets of Milan, to happy families in New York, the scenes that brands have chosen to depict their clothes in are rich and varied for the season ahead – style inspo really can be found anywhere, it seems.

Dolce and Gabbana hired war photographer Franco Pagetti to shoot their lively neighbourhood scenes, capturing life on the cobbled streets of Spaccanapoli in Italy. Versace played modern family-maker, depicting Gigi Hadid with a hot model boyfriend pushing a buggy. Moschino, meanwhile, continued the theme from their Burnin’ Down The House fashion show in February, sending Anna Cleveland out and about to smash up cars with a graffiti covered axe.

There are plenty of famous faces littered in the mix too, from Eddie Redmayne, who makes his debut as the new face of Prada, to Edie Campbell looking colourful in Burberry, to Gigi Hadid, high-kicking in style for Stuart Weitzman.

For some, one muse simply won?t do, Prada cast not one, not two, but twenty-seven models, including big names Freja Beha Erichsen, Milla Jovovich, Sasha Pivovarova, Stella Tennant and one-to-watch, Yasmin Wijnaldum.
