Mick Jagger Turns 70 And This Is How We're Going To Celebrate...

by Natasha Heasman

Mick Jagger has always been known for his flamboyant dress sense both on stage and off. At 70 years old, his sense of style is still as sharp as ever. Have a look at our tribute to the rock sensation and his most stylish outfits over the years...

During the 1969 Rolling Stones concert in Hyde Park Mick chose to wear a shirt by Michael Fish - the most fashionable shirt maker in London at the time. Some said it wasn’t his finest fashion moment, but we think the man could pull off anything.

Mick and Bianca Jagger had several matching outfits during their time together. The most iconic was on their wedding day; both wore suits by Yves Saint Laurent.

Mick does off-duty style perfectly. Looking casual in a straw hat and nude wide leg trousers, he had his summer look nailed in as he strolled through Vienna in the 1970s.

Here he is at the Savoy Hotel in 1977, rocking the leather bomber and white trousers combination. This man could look cool in anything.

We're not entirely sure what is going on here. But we love it.

Could anyone else but Mick Jagger pull this look off?

As always he is the epitome of cool, Mick looked faultless in his trademark hat, sunglasses and scarf as he strutted through Heathrow airport back in 1988.

The eighties were kind to Jagger

Few men can walk the red carpet in a suit, silk scarf and trainers, and still be hailed as a style icon. Despite his questionable footwear choices, he can still pull it off. It’s all about the confidence.

In 2012, Jagger proved he not only is one of the most stylish men on the planet, but that he still has his signature dance moves (all at the age of 69). He came back all guns blazing in November to start a new tour. Never mind the performance, who in their right mind could forget that silver jacket?

We salute you, Sir Mick, for your years of service to fashion and style. Have a drink on us, or perhaps you should make that five. We know you can handle it.
