Dune launches exclusive cocktail ring for Teenage Cancer Trust

Why not treat yourself to something extra special this Christmas while helping young people fight cancer
Every day in the UK, six teenagers are told they have cancer. It's a rising figure, with more young people than children suffering the disease.
In collaboration with UK charity Teenage Cancer Trust, Dune is delighted to launch the limited edition Sun Burst cocktail ring, with all profits going towards helping young people battle the life threatening disease.
Lucie Carrington, pictured here, was diagnosed with bone cancer at 15 and received all her treatment on the Teenage Cancer Trust’s unit in Manchester. Lucie is now in remission and has been chosen to model the ring to highlight the important work of the charity.
‘Being treated on a Teenage Cancer Trust unit made a huge difference to my recovery. The unit was great and perfectly equipped for teenagers, which made me feel really relaxed and at home,’ says Lucie.
The charity estimates that with their current units in the UK, only half of all teenagers diagnosed with cancer have access to the dedicated specialist support they provide. But Teenage Cancer Trust hopes that by 2012, every teenager diagnosed with cancer will be treated on one of their units.
The Sun Burst cocktail ring is the perfect statement piece for any occasion, whether you’re dressing up jeans or complementing a Christmas party frock, for only £20.
So what are you waiting for? Treat yourself to a special gift this Christmas and show your support for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The Sun Burst cocktail ring is available in Dune stores and online now at dune.co.uk
