Our beloved Harry Potter collection is something we will always cherish, but man do they take up a lot of space. But lucky for those with limited room on the bookshelf, Bloomsbury has announced that from this autumn, they will be releasing paperback versions of the seven Harry Potter classics.

And now that we've found out according to a study, people that read Harry Potter books are nicer, this is GREAT news for Potterheads.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone will be the first illustrated paperback to be released on August 23rd 2018 - featuring a brand new pull-out poster of Norbert, the Norwegian Ridgeback dragon - fans will remember Nobert was the product of the egg that Hagrid won in a game from a stranger, that later turned out to be Professor Quirrel in disguise.

Bloomsbury said the artwork in the paperback will also include 'Jim Kay’s stunning rendition of Diagon Alley and the character portraits that fans have loved so much.' Watch the video below for an insight into how Kay gets inspired for his well known Harry Potter illustrations.

Harry Potter fans who want to collect the new paperbacks will be pleased to hear that these editions are much more affordable that the originals. While a hardback for Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone will set you back a chunky £27, the new slim versions that will include the full text will be priced at a purse-pleasing £13.49.

You can pre-order the paperback now via Bloomsbury's website, but until then at least we've got Fantastic Beasts 2 to look forward to.
