First Look: Natalie Portman as Jacqueline Kennedy
Does Portman's transformation get your nod of approval?

Does Portman's transformation get your nod of approval?
So far we're convinced by Natalie Portman's transformation into Jacqueline Kennedy for upcoming biopic Jackie. Granted, we've only seen one picture, but it's a promising preview glimpse.
The former First Lady is an enduring fashion icon. She eptiomises statement-making elegance and her influential style continues to inform fashion's tastemakers.
We imagine the film's costume designer is feeling the heavy weight of responsibility: delivering a suitably inspiring wardrobe will be essential to the character's portrayal, and then the rest is up to Portman.
The good news is, right now all signs point to success.
Protozoa Pictures released a photo of Portman as Jackie via Deadline:
The film is directed by Pablo Larraín and produced by Darren Aronofsky (who directed Portman in Black Swan). The story will cover what happened in the days after President John F. Kennedy’s assassination in 1963.
The rest of the cast is impressive too: Peter Saarsgard, Greta Gerwig, Max Casella and John Hurt are all currently filming scenes in Paris.
Previously Katie Holmes played the White House legend in 2011 mini-series The Kennedys and two years later Ginnifer Goodwin gave her take on Jackie in TV movie Killing Kennedy.
Now it's Portman's turn, but we'll have to wait until 2017 to see the movie in full.
