Despite being just 15 at the time, the starlet showcased her penchant for trend-setting by wearing the frock nearly an entire year before it was given its next red carpet outing.
Goldie Hawn stepped out in the shimmering scaled design when she accompanied daughter Kate Hudson to the Nine premiere in New York last week.
Perhaps reflecting their 48-year age gap, Goldie opted for a more demure approach to her ensemble, teaming the gown with old-school Hollywood accessories of faux fur shrug, elbow length gloves and sparkling diamonds.
