Model-of-the-moment Cara Delevingne says it was Kate Moss who inspired her fashion career.
Cara Delevingne is one of the biggest models in the world right now and it seems we can thank, in part, Kate Moss for that.
In the latest Nowness video celebrating Kate Moss's new collaboration with Topshop, Cara D talks about how she was inspired to take an interest in fashion because of La Moss.
'I was never that into fashion when I was a kid - I was such a tomboy, but Kate Moss, I just knew exactly who she was, of course, she was the face, she was the icon.'
She continues: 'As soon as I heard that Kate was working with Topshop, it was just perfect. It’s like London brand, London girl, the London girl. Everyone just wanted to dress like Kate, and she kind of brought that to the [Topshop] collection, made everyone be able to have that style that she has, which is just incredible.'
The Kate Moss for Topshop collection will launch in Topshop’s Oxford Circus flagship on Tuesday 29 April before going global the following day.
