A breakthrough in the quest for brilliant new online shopping experiences - Temperley London have teamed up with Net-A-Porter to bring us the first shoppable fashion film.
Created on US video platform Cinematique, viewers are able to touch ‘hot spots’ in the movie, allowing them to add products to their ‘personal boutique’, share them on social media or buy them on Net-A-Porter.com.
The film, shot by designer Alice’s brother Henry Temperley stars some well-known fans of the label and perfectly nods to the designer’s star-studded summer fashion parties, held at her Somerset estate each year. Laura Bailey, Jade Parfitt, Jacquetta Wheeler and Carolina Issa model pieces from Temperley’s ready-to-wear and bridal lines in what looks like the most fun English country wedding ever.
We had a play on the Net-A-Porter website (Luxe beaded maxi? Add to basket please…) and were seriously impressed by the seamlessness of the whole thing. We will definitely add a Net-A-Porter discount code to our very full basket.
‘The consumer wants authentic story-telling in an innovative and entertaining manner’ said Temperley’s CEO Ulrik Garde Due. “Thanks to Cinematique, viewers can emotionally connect with Alice Temperley’s magical world while shopping the film.”
