Sparkling gems, celebrities and one hell of a hot night: Swarovski Runway Rocks comes to town

Last night's glittering Swarovski Runway Rocks was one hell of a hot night - in every sense of the word.

With the a/c on the blink and London enjoying a rare warm evening, the capital's fashionistas were left furiously fanning themselves with invites and show notes as they watched a catwalk show that brought new meaning to the word 'glittering'.

To celebrate Jewellery Fashion Week, designers including Christopher Kane, Julien Macdonald and Marios Schwab had created one-off crystal 'creations', for want of a better word, that adorned a parade of ever-more beautiful models.

Stars in the sweltering audience included Rosamund Pike, Jamie Winston and Kelly Hoppen, but this is one London fashion show not just reserved for the A-list; from today, each catwalk piece can be seen in a special exhibition at Phillips de Pury and Company at 9 Howick Place in London.
