Primark has made its first foray into web retail after launching on ASOS.
After years of resisting calls to set up its own e-commerce website, the high street giant made its web debut with a capsule 20-piece collection on the online shopping site.
Current items up for grabs include an Aztec print skater dress (perfect for the summer festival season), a striped tube maxi dress (ditto for our summer hols), a lightweight studded parka, a denim jacket and a sporty varsity dress – with prices starting as low as a rude-not-to £6. Bargain!
It's understood that menswear will be added to ASOS at a later date, as part of what the firm called a 'very limited trial', which has kicked off despite the online shopping emporium recently announcing that it will launch its own budget range, called Style Steal.
A spokesperson for ASOS said: 'As an online fashion destination, ASOS delivers an edit of the brands and products that are relevant to its 20-something target market. Primark is part of that mix.'
