Lourdes Leon takes on the Material Girl mantle as she starts her very own style blog
She might be just 13, but Madonna's daughter Lourdes Leon has proved she already knows a thing or two about self-publicity, starting her very own fashion blog to promote new clothing collection, Material Girl.
Well, she has learnt from the best...
Introducing herself as Lola, the teen posted her first blog this week in anticipation of the August launch of the fashion line, which she has started with her superstar mother.
'Helluuur thurrrr, I'm Lola and this is my first blog entry,' she writes. 'I'm just going to use this blog entry to tell y'all a little bit about myself. I'm 13 and I'll be 14 in October, so I can't wait for that because I am FINALLY allowed to dye my hair... THANK YOU MOTHER!!'
Onto her style, and she reveals that a penchant for all things Eighties will prevail across the fashion line - 'I am totally obsessivo about 80's shorts... the 80s are another huge obsession of mine, which is totally amazingly awesome because Material Girl...HELLO! It's like 80's themed.'
'I'm in London right now and the best stores ever here, I love the vintage stores down in Whitechapel, also a lot of hot guys hang there just in case y'all care,' she adds.
Lourdes is listed as Creative Director of the venture, while Madonna as 'the original Material Girl' is named as its creator.
With a signature fashion line and blog all at 13, something tells us we're going to be seeing a lot more of little Miss Lola...
