M&S launches 125th birthday collection
Marks & Spencer is celebrating 125 years of high street style next month, and to mark its milestone birthday, is getting nostalgic with a limited edition collection.
Looking back to its considerable archives, the M&S design team have created the 125 collection which encompasses womenswear, lingerie, accessories and swimwear, all inspired by the store's rich heritage.
Cherry picking prints, styling and details from pieces ranging from the Forties to the Seventies, the retro collection combines a vintage feel, with a contemporary edge.
Kate Bostock, M&S Director of Clothing, commented, '125 years of trading is a very special birthday and what better way to celebrate than by using our unique heritage to inspire designs that are relevant for our customers today.'
The collection will land in M&S stores at the end of May.
