Shot by legendary photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot and styled by Kate Moss’s best friend Katy England, the black and white images released this morning see the Pretty Woman star take a minimally boyish, powerful stance in strictly black clothing.
From a monochrome suit to an equally as striking black dress with white collar, the images – and Julia - are both beautiful and commanding.
The Parisian fashion powerhouse has made a conscious decision to use non-celebrities as the face of their campaigns in previous seasons so Julia Roberts may at first appear to be a break from tradition. But in fact, the actress is a serious thespian, one that is not a social media star or red carpet regular.
