Kate Middleton will leave Prince William to visit a Help for Heroes centre without her later this month

Kate Middleton and her baby bump have had a busy few weeks appearing at several charity functions dressed, as always, to perfection so it’s perfectly understandable that the Duchess of Cambridge plans to enjoy a well-deserved rest ahead of the birth.

She will hand over the royal reigns to Prince William who appears to be stepping up his commitments the latest of which is with Prince Harry. According to Sky News Royal Correspondent, Paul Harrison, the brothers are to visit the Help for Heroes Recovery Centre in Wiltshire on 20 May.

On this occasion Kate Middleton hasn’t planned on joining her husband as he meets with former military personnel, despite doing so last month. After the couple’s trip to Scotland in April they stopped off in the Lake District to see new nuclear-powered submarines being built for the Royal Navy by BAE Systems where they also spoke to military families.

With a due date of mid-July it’s not thought Duchess Kate will accompany Prince William when he attends the Football Association’s XXXVII Ordinary UEFA Congress in London on 24 May either despite her passion for sport.
