A hat so good she wore it twice.
Victoria Beckham made a pitstop at her soon-to-open flagship store in Dover Street yesterday wearing a super-sized, and super-fab, trilby.
The designer has made several stylish drop-ins at her first bricks-and-mortar store in London in the run up to its grand opening (Thursday, 25 September), no doubt making sure that everything is spot-on perfect for the big unveiling.
On this particular visit, VB rocked up in Dover Street wearing skinny black jeans, boots, a classic leather jacket and the widest of wide-brimmed hats.
The trilby is clearly the accessory du jour for Victoria, who was seen at LAX airport wearing a grey version of the hat just a couple of months ago.
VB’s debut store will sell her main collection as well as her spin-off range, Victoria by Victoria Beckham, and accessories.
Earlier in the year, Victoria revealed why she had waited until now to open her own store. She told Women’s Wear Daily: ‘I think the time is now because I know my customer. It will be the first time that the people will really be able to see the brand through my eyes.’
The interior has been designed by architect Farshid Moussavi, about which VB said: ‘Moussavi is a woman who loves fashion as well. She has quite a conceptual eye, which I like.
‘We want to make something different without making it overly complicated. I just want it to feel real for me.’
