Hollywood A-lister Tom Cruise has said that he would love to star in an action movie alongside his close friend Mr B.
Cruise, who was in London last night for the film premiere of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, has joked that Beckham would 'kick ass' if he was to take up acting after he retires from football.

'I'd love to do action movies with Beckham,' Cruise told the Daily Mirror.
'He would be great, he could kick ass.'

He added: 'David would have to teach me to play soccer first.'
As much as we would love to swoon over Becks on the big screen, he has previously dismissed the idea, saying: 'I''ve had some offers but I'm not interested. I'm a terrible actor, I did a bit in Goal! playing myself and I looked rigid.'
The duo have been friends since 2003 and, at Cruise's insistence, reportedly share the same agent and PR firm.
