The Britain's Got Talent star has said she's 'honoured' to receive the invitation to perform when he visits the UK next month
Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle has revealed she has received an invitation to perform for the Pope when he visits the UK next month.
The Scottish star is set to perform three songs at an open air ceremony in Glasgow, as well as joining an 800-strong choir to sing at Mass.
‘To be able to sing for the Pope is a great honor and something I’ve always dreamed of – it’s indescribable,’ the excited star said in a statement.
‘I’ve always wanted to sing for His Holiness and I can’t really put into words my happiness that this wish has come true at last.’
And lovely Susan has revealed she feels ‘humbled’ by the special religious invitation.
‘The Pope’s visit is a very big event for Scottish Catholics. My own faith is the backbone of my life, I pray and say the rosary each day and am very close to my religion.
‘I am humbled and honoured by this invitation and I hope I can do my best.’
