Strictly Come Dancing's Abbey Clancy has confessed she joined the show in the hopes of boosting her endurance levels.

The 27-year-old model mum may have a figure that's as enviable as those of the Strictly dancers, but Abbey is hoping that her appearance on the 11th series of the hit dance show will help her get fitter.

'I’m strong but I’ve got no stamina. I get out of breath so easy,' she reveals.

'I don’t train or go to the gym, so just getting my fitness up, toning, and feeling good – that’s what I’m looking forward to the most... I’d like a [dance partner] who can disguise how bad I’ll be!'

The model and wife of footballer Peter Crouch tweeted a picture of herself in a one-sleeved sequin and feather-festooned dancing frock, captioned:

'Yes it's true I will be doing strictly #terrified #excited #SCD2013 @bbcstrictly,' before following up with: 'I'm soooooooo scared @bbcstrictly #help.'

Of the dancing or the dresses? We think Abbey's designer pal Giles needs to improve these costumes, ASAP!
