Simon Cowell made an X Factor comeback at the show's series 10 press launch yesterday, calling himself a 'proud daddy' after watching the first episode.

Simon, who has spent the last week looking all kinds of loved-up with his pregnant love interest Lauren Silverman, made a last-minute appearance at yesterday's X Factor screening at London's Mayfair Hotel.

After seeing the latest episode of the hit reality show, Simon told reporters that he 'feels like a very proud daddy' (he said something similar after seeing One Direction's new documentary last week).

Simon was also spotted dining with X Factor judge Louis Walsh and gal-pal Silverman at Scalini restaurant in London earlier this week, where the Syco bossed engaged in some serious snogging with his pregnant paramour.
