Simon Cowell is preparing to jet off to France to reunite with his pregnant lover, New York socialite Lauren Silverman.
Cowell's baby mama, who is thought to be 12 weeks pregnant, landed in France yesterday and the couple are reportedly meeting up for the first time since news of Lauren's pregnancy broke in early August.
A source told a British tabloid: ‘Lauren is so excited. It will be the first time she has actually seen Simon in weeks, she really loves him and they can't wait to be together.'
Simon finally addressed rumours that he is soon to become a first-time father at the London premiere of One Direction's new documentary, This Is Us, when he told reporters that he's 'proud to be a dad' and referred to Lauren as a 'very special girl.'
Lauren landed in Nice with multiple suitcases in tow – suggesting she'll be staying for a while – and was snapped wearing the five-carat diamond eternity bracelet that Cowell had purchased for her, reportedly as a gift when he found out she was expecting.
What we'd give to be a fly on the wall of Simon's Slipstream yacht this week... Ooh la la!
