Simon Cowell: Dannii Minogue will return to X Factor

Dannii Minogue to sign X Factor deal this week

Simon Cowell has said that he expects Dannii Minogue to sign a deal to return to the X Factor this week.

After much speculation that Dannii would be dropped from the talent show, Cowell has finally broken his silence.

'If I was a betting man, my money would be on Dannii returning to the show,' he said.

'She was great last year and I am adamant that she should be there for the next series. All being well, pen will be put to paper this week.

'Despite all the fuss concerning Dannii and Cheryl, I think the four judges worked really well together and gelled. There was an excellent chemistry.'

One report has even said that the music mogul is set to double Dannii's fee to put her on a par with Cheryl Cole.

A source told the Daily Mirror: 'She feels she has been a bit redundant but Simon pleaded with her to stay and has offered her a much more lucrative deal, doubling her £500,000 fees to £1million.'

Cowell also rubbished claims that he's been trying to negotiate a deal to get Victoria Beckham to replace Dannii.

'There's been a lot of rubbish written about just who will be on the show, with people like Victoria Beckham supposedly in the frame. That was absolute nonsense - I never approached her,' said Cowell.
