The star adds to his already cluttered body with a new image of Jesus
David Beckham has added another tattoo to his collection, this time a picture of Jesus sitting on the cross.
The black and white religious depiction on the right side of his torso is based on a painting called The Man Of Sorrows by Catholic artist Matthew R Brooks.
But it seems this latest inking has no real religious meaning to the star.
‘David has an appreciation of religious art and iconography and the new tattoo reflects that. However, unlike a lot of his other designs, there is no specific meaning behind it,' one insider said.
‘Each tattoo he opts for is very carefully considered. It's more than a hobby for him - it's almost spiritual,' they continued.
With already more than 17 other tattoos, we're surprised David could find any room for his latest skin sketching.

Among others, Becks already has a crucifix on the back of his neck and a couple of guardian angels on his shoulders, as well as ten roses linked around his arm - a tribute to Victoria on their 10th wedding anniversary.
