Notorious Hollywood hacker posted nude photos of Scarlett Johansson on the internet
The man who hacked into the email accounts of stars including Scarlett Johansson, Mila Kunis and Christina Aguilera to obtain nude pictures has been jailed for ten years.
The notorious Hollywood hacker, Christopher Chaney, 35, admitted hacking into the personal emails of his victims by clicking on the ‘forgot password’ feature of their accounts and answering security questions by using publicly available information.
Chancey was said to have accessed the emails of more than 50 celebrities before taking control of the accounts and obtaining private photos, business contracts and scripts, amongst other confidential material.
It was only when Scarlett Johansson went to the FBI, after naked shots taken for her then husband Ryan Reynolds went viral online, that Chaney was arrested.
Chaney, of Florida, was sentenced to 10 years in jail after admitting wiretapping and unauthorised access to a computer.
