Royal romance in crisis as Chelsy Davy tells Prince Harry she pines for home

It seems we could be facing a royal romance crisis, after Chelsy Davy has reportedly told Prince Harry she pines for South Africa, and longs to return home.

Sources claim the pair are still 'very much an item,' but insiders say their six-year romance is already on the rocks.

Despite laying down roots in London, landing a £2 million Chelsea flat and a job at a city law firm, rumours suggest Chelsy Davy is still home sick and has told Harry she want to make a permanent move back to her family.

Chelsy Davy was spotted out and about enjoying Ascot last week, but the rare appearance was seemingly days before she issued the announcement to Prince Harry.

'Chelsy has given it her best shot trying to create a new life in London,' one insider told the Daily Mail.

'She has never wanted to be a princess. She has everything she needs in Africa - her family and her friends and now a new career.'

And now it seems the only way to keep their relationship alive would be for Prince Harry to move to South Africa.

But despite Prince Harry claiming just last week that his ambition is to live in Africa, the young royal is about to start an Army training course to become an Apache helicopter pilot, so it seems unlikely this will ever be an option.

This comes just days after reports revealed Prince Harry's brother Prince William has moved in with long-term girlfriend, Kate Middleton.

So could we be hearing the sound of royal wedding bells soon?
