Robert Pattinson talking to Kristen Stewart after 'tearful texts'

Robert Pattinson has finally started talking to Kristen Stewart again, but is still in two minds over whether to forgive her

Robert Pattinson has finally begun talking to cheating girlfriend Kristen Stewart again, according to reports, after she bombarded him with 'tearful texts'.

Poor R-Patz has been holed up at the Californian ranch of Water For Elephants co-star Reese Witherspoon since news of Kristen Stewart's affair broke.

Insiders had said Robert Pattinson had been ignoring Kristen Stewart's calls, as he attempted to work out how he felt, and had been 'dreading' a showdown with the star.

But now it seems Rob is ready to open up, as insiders say Rob and Kristen 'have finally started talking to each other again'.

Before we get too ahead of ourselves, though, it doesn't look like Mr Pattinson will be forgiving Kristen Stewart any time soon.

'Rob just isn’t going to be able to get beyond the cheating – one time or not,' one source told People magazine.

Described by one insider as 'in pieces' it's thought Rob has even turned to Rupert Sanders' wife Liberty Ross, in a bid to work out what has been going on.

A source told the Mirror: 'He needs to know for his own peace of mind if theirs was just a fleeting moment. He hopes Liberty can help him find the answers to he so desperately craves.'

Meanwhile, officials have denied Rob has cancelled appearances on his upcoming Cosmopolis promotional tour, claiming it is all going ahead as planned.

'Cosmopolis is a film that Robert is very proud of and looks forward to supporting,' his London spokesman said.

'No confirmed engagements have been cancelled. Any reports to the contrary are inaccurate.'
