'Robert Pattinson hasn’t taught me anything about Britain,' says Taylor Lautner

EXCLUSIVE! Taylor Lautner talks to Marie Claire about Robert Pattinson’s lack of patriotism

Robert Pattinson has been working with Taylor Lautner on Twilight for four years but he’s clearly still not found the time to introduce the American actor to the best bits of British culture as Marie Claire can exclusively reveal.

Despite months of filming in remote parts of Canada and weeks spent touring the world on the Twilight promo circuit together, when we asked Taylor what British things Robert has introduced him to the answer was 'nothing.'

Taylor told us: ‘You know what, I’d actually give him [Robert Pattinson] a big fail with that one.

‘The only thing I’ve explored too much here is bowling alleys – you’ve got a lot of good ones over here.’

It sounds as if Robert needs to improve his tour guiding skills. While he may not have been too enthusiastic about taking Taylor to see the UK’s best pubs or to visit Buckingham Palace, we were reassured that they’re still close friends.

Taylor added: ‘We have all become so close at this point even when it [Twilight] is done we’re still going to hang out. Even though the franchise is coming to an end those friendships won’t.’

So Rob still has a chance to show Taylor the London Eye, Big Ben and many more of our cultural gems…
