Rihanna recently admitted to Oprah Winfrey that she still loved her ex, Chris Brown, and those feelings don’t seem to be fading. Yesterday, (Monday) the Talk That Talk singer publicly leant her support to Chris calling him ‘baby’ as he went on trial for failing a drugs test.
As Chris waited the outcome of testing positive for marijuana in June while in Virginia (where the drug is illegal,) Rihanna took to Twitter to show him she still cared.

She tweeted: ‘Praying for you baby, my best wishes are with you today! Remember that whatever God does in our lives, it is WELL DONE!!! #1Love'
The sentiment was backed up by a second tweet reading: ‘@chrisbrown I’m praying for you and wishing u the best today [sic].’
Her ex replied, writing: ‘Thank u so much. [sic]’

And it appears the well wishes worked as judge Patricia Schnegg let the singer off with a warning. Chris’ defense claimed he smoked the substance in California where he has a medicinal marijuana card.

Although he didn’t get off lightly, the Don’t Wake Me Up singer is still on probation following the assault on Rihanna in 2009, and it is claimed he has failed to complete his community service order and violated the travel restrictions imposed on him.
The judge told Chris: ‘You are not an average person sitting in a living room. You are not only in the public eye, but you are on probation.
‘A lot of people look up to you - a lot of kids. What you do and what you say impacts other people.'
We hope he’s learnt his lesson!
