Priyanka Chopra is not happy about Meghan Markle's latest interview

Priyanka Chopra and Meghan Markle have been close friends for years, and the two Hollywood stars have always publicly supported each other. So it was perfectly reasonably that Priyanka spoke up for Meghan following her recent interview with Vanity Fair.
Meghan revealed details about her relationship with Prince Harry for the first time, telling the publication: 'I can tell you that at the end of the day I think it’s really simple. We’re two people who are really happy and in love.'
However, Priyanka was concerned that her friend had been reduced to her relationship status in the interview.
Talking at the Toronto International Film Festival, she said: 'I don't know if I will get into trouble for this, but I have an opinion. I mean, [Megan] is on the cover of Vanity Fair. It would have been nice to write about her not just her boyfriend. I'm just saying. I mean, she's an actor, she's an activist, she's a philanthropist. I mean, she does so much more.
'It's just a little sexist. Look, I'm a feminist and I love boys, okay… The only thing I'm saying is that there needs to be a certain sense of equality where a woman is not just a plus one, you know. It's nice to be your own identity too.'
It's not the first time that Priyanka has defended Meghan when asked about her private life. During an interview earlier this year, talk show host Wendy Williams tried to get the Baywatch actress to share details of Meghan's relationship with Prince Harry - but she was having none of it.
'You're friends with Meghan Markle, Prince Harry's girlfriend,' Wendy probed.
But Priyanka was quick to point out that her friend was not just someone's other half and quickly interrupted with: 'Also Meghan Markle, actress, Suits, her achievements...'
Hear hear.
