It’s been a busy few months for Kate Middleton and Prince William. Despite getting engaged back in October, the pair hadn’t been spotted out and about together since the big announcement – until this weekend, when they made their first official outing as a couple.
THE ROYAL WEDDING: ALL THE DETAILS
The loved-up pair stepped out together to attend their first official engagement on Saturday, braving plummeting temperatures in the pretty village of Thursford in Norfolk.
Kate and William were guests of honour at the Teenage Cancer Trust’s Christmas Spectacular and reception in the picturesque town, and were happy to smile for the cameras as they arrived - and were met by cheers from onlookers - at the festive event.
The newly-engaged couple donned their glad rags for the outing, with William dressing up in a formal suit, and Kate opting for a chic cream dress with glittering embellishment, adding cosy black tights and a fitted black jacket to finish off her ensemble.
Plans for the royal wedding are said to be moving quickly ahead, with the first official wedding china going on sale over the weekend.
