Nicole Scherzinger is celebrating five years with the Formula 1 driver on a sunny break in Capri
Nicole Scherzinger is celebrating an important milestone in her relationship with Lewis Hamilton – this week marks five years that the pair have been together.
Lewis Hamilton shared a picture of the couple on his Instagram page today, which shows an ecstatic Nicole ready to embark on a holiday with her long-term boyfriend.
She wears a striped sun dress and a straw hat, while Lewis looks a little overdressed for the beach in dark jeans, a navy blue tee and a baseball cap. Their dog Roscoe wears a fetching pair of mint green ear protectors as the pair to hop on a helicopter.
The Formula 1 driver captioned the picture: "Me and my lady celebrate our 5 year anniversary in Capri, a time I will never forget. I love you babe." How cute?!
Last weekend, Nicole was spotted supporting Lewis at the Monaco Grand Prix.
The pair started dating in 2008 and split for a brief time in 2011 as they wanted 'different things', but they're certainly back on track now and not including the break in their important five-year milestone.
Nicole told Marie Claire back in December that she wanted to have kids "in the next five years". She said: "I’m not getting any younger.
"I don’t want to have kids now, though. When I’m a mum, I’m not going to be one of those mums who has nannies.
"Actually, I might have nannies – never say never – but I’m not having someone else raise my kids. I think five years might be a good time to look at having children, but I think whenever it’s meant to happen is when it will happen. I see lots of women having beautiful children later in life now. And, if not, just freeze your eggs."
For now, it looks like they're happy enough with Roscoe. Happy Anniversary, guys!
