Why Nicole Kidman called her baby Sunday Rose
It's quite an unusual name, so we were interested when Nicole Kidman's dad came forward and explained why his daughter chose to name her first biological baby Sunday Rose – and, apparently, it's all down to him.
The little baby girl, who was born on 7 July, was named after Australian artist Sidney Nolan's muse, Sunday Reed.
Nicole's father, Antony, told Australian newspaper The Daily Telegraph: 'I have read a bit about Sunday Reed and her husband John – she was a key mover and shaker in the arts around the beginning of the century.
'The name Sunday struck me as being a nice name for a woman, so my wife and I mentioned it.'
And the middle name? It's a nod to Keith Urban's late grandmother Rose.
Perez Hilton may have dubbed her Sunday Roast, but we think it's super-cute.
