We had heard the rumours Michelle Williams was growing out her pixie, but we didn't believe it, until now.
We all admire Michelle's crop. In short (pardon the pun), the star's hair is magnificent, and it's had us all toying with idea of experimenting with a more daring hairstyle for years now.
But Michelle is in the process of growing out her blonde locks, and the move is a bold one for one very poignant reason. The actress once revealed that she kept her hair cropped as a tribute to the late Heath Ledger, who died in 2008 and is the father of Michelle's daughter Matilda, because he loved short hair.
Now, following her split from fellow actor Jason Segel, Michelle feels it's time for a change.
'I think I’m ready,' the 32-year-old actress told E! Online. 'It’s on its way, slowly but surely.'

'That’s why I’ve stayed with short hair for so long,' she added. 'The mid-stage is insufferable. It’s really hard on your self-esteem.'
Michelle debuted her new mid-length look at the Kate Young for Target party in New York last night, where she joined stars like Maggie Gyllenhaal and Kate Mara.
The Oz The Great And Powerful actress looked radiant and in high spirits as she posed for photos in navy shorts, a dotty sheer top and a white blazer with a contrasting black trim.
