'Double standards or what'
Don’t know about you, but we are still trying to digest all the drama from last night’s Love Island episode.
With rumours that the infamous Casa Amor is making a comeback this season – involving contestants’ exes – things are only going to get more intense from here on out.
To recap: after ending things with Eyal, Megan made a move on Wes, who was coupled up with Laura.
In anger, Laura stormed off in tears and called Megan a ‘f***ing slag’. More than once.
Wowzers.
Viewers seemed pretty on the fence about the whole thing; some pointed out that it was a game show and the pair had only been together for a few weeks, while others thought Megan’s treatment of Laura was pretty harsh.
However, this wasn’t the only reason people voiced disapproval when it came to Megan’s behavior during the episode.
In an earlier challenge, Megan had said that women should be able to enjoy sex as much as they wanted to without being judged.
However, she later implied that Laura was more of a ‘slag’ than her because she’d slept with more people – causing Twitter users to brand her as hypocritical.
Can’t be doing with Megan always going on about female sexual empowerment and responding to Laura calling her a slag with ‘she’s slept with more people than me’ double standards or what ??♀️ #LoveIsland

The fact that Megan pointed out that Laura has slept with more people than her because Laura called her a slag… no Hun she called you a slag because you’re going behind your friends back to get with her man 🤮🤮 mingin #loveisland

I thought Megan was all for girls being able to enjoy sex & do what they want but yet she doesn’t know why she’s the one being called a slag because Laura has ‘slept with more people than her’. Double standards hen ?? #LoveIsland

Megan goes on about how girls can want sex without being called a slut but her response to Laura calling her a slag is “you’re more of a slag cos you’ve shagged more guys than me” ??♀️??♀️ #loveisland

Yikes… the people were not impressed.
With recent events in mind, it’ll be interesting to see who the next two contestants are to be dumped from the villa.
The Love Island drama continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
