The Harry Potter heart throb is engaged

We really can't believe that it's been over five years since we were in the cinema watching Neville Longbottom's passionate speech at the battle of Hogwarts in the last instalment of the Harry Potter film series. And ever since the release of last film, Matthew Lewis has been held as Hogwarts' hottest hunk in the eyes of just about everyone.

Well, we have some very bad news if you fancied yourself as Mrs Neville Longbottom one day: Matthew is officially off the market, as he is getting married.

We repeat, Matthew Lewis is getting married.

That's right, the Harry Potter star recently got engaged to his girlfriend, Angela Jones. While some fans will be slightly heartbroken at the news that Matthew is no longer an available guy, many will be happy to know that the reason their paths crossed in the first place is actually all down to the Harry Potter movies. So there's always a silver lining, folks.

The two met at Universal Studios Orlando in Florida (where Angela works as an event planner) at a Wizarding World event in January, according to TMZ. So, had Matthew not been cast to play one of the most loveable wizards of all time, he never would have met the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. The happy story is very welcome news after this IRL Harry Potter couple split up earlier this year.

Matthew and Angela reportedly got engaged last month, and (very romantically) Matthew proposed under the Eiffel Tower in Paris, aka one of the most romantic cities in the world. A spokesperson told The Daily Mail that: 'They're both over the moon. They got together in July and hit it off straight away.'

What a heart-warming story, right?

Congratulations to the couple on their exciting news!
