It looks as though the war of words might finally be over for the pregnant Smile singer as Lily Allen accepts an apology from the Twitter user she reported for racism.
Lily Allen told her 3.6m Twitter followers that she hopes to put the issue behind her after the soldier said he was sorry.
Lily, who tweets under her married name @lilyrosecooper, wrote: 'I have just received some flowers and a hand written apology from Harry Wilson, which I accept. I hope we can all now move on. Thank you.'
The spat started when Harry Wilson, whose Twitter profile says that he's in the army, sent Lily Allen a message that read: 'just seen you bought s*** I mean adopted a child from Africa.'

Lily then asked followers: ‘How do you report someone on here. That guy I retweeted should be banned' - before reporting the comment to the MoD.

An Army spokesman responded: ‘Racism of any kind is completely unacceptable and the Army has a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of harassment and discrimination.
‘We are aware of the alleged offensive comments and are investigating the matter. It would be inappropriate to comment further while this is ongoing.’
But Lily Allen found herself the victim of a backlash on Twitter, with comments including:
'@lilyrosecooper, Mornin lily, hope u had a gd sleep NOT!!!!!!! Hope u had the #demons.'
And, '@lilyrosecooper, have you taken the hint that no one likes you and that your accusation is outrageous? Hope harry sue's you for every penny.'
Lily retweeted some of the more offensive comments, saying: 'Just a few examples of the drivel I'm being subjected to for reporting that guy yesterday.'
