Lea Michele joined friends at Jamie-Lynn Sigler's baby shower on Saturday, in her first public appearance since the death of her boyfriend Cory Monteith.
Clad in a short white lace dress and heels, Lea kept her eyes shielded with large dark sunglasses but didn't protest at being papped by waiting photographers. Instead, she looked incredibly happy and well.
Smiling as she clung to the arm of fellow actress JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Lea entered the Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills to join with other friends celebrating Jamie-Lyn's expectant baby boy and later lunched in the area that afternoon
Lea, who has spoken only to thank her fans on Twitter last week, has been keeping close to her 'great friends' in the wake of the incident.
She has been staying away from home at friends' houses in LA, having only just returned from Mexico with a group when she heard the news of Cory's death.
Lea has also been reunited with the Glee cast for support and she expressed her excitement on Twitter to be getting back into the role of Rachel Berry for the fifth season, last week. The actress is busy working on a special tribute episode to her late boyfriend, and it's been confirmed that the script WILL focus on drug abuse, in an attempt to handle the death of Finn Hudson in a responsible manner.
