Lady Gaga claims she is channeling the late Alexander McQueen's ghost

Never one to shy away from the bizarre, Lady Gaga has revealed she believes the ghost of Alexander McQueen is helping to orchestrate her career. In an interview with Harpers Bazaar, the out-there songstress opened up on the late designer and her belief that he helped her write new single, Born this Way, from the grave.

‘I think he planned the whole thing,' she explained.

‘Right after he died, I wrote Born This Way. I think he’s up in heaven with fashion strings in his hands, marionetting away, planning this whole thing.’

Her suspicions were aroused when the record label had to change the release date of the track to the anniversary of his death, 11th February.

‘When I heard that, I knew he planned the whole damn thing. I didn’t even write the f***ing song. He did!’

LADY GAGA STYLE HIGHS AND LOWS

The pair struck up a close friendship in the months prior to his death, when she debuted her single Bad Romance at his S/S 2010 catwalk show, and wore his famous armadillo shoes in the video.

The singer also slammed stars who get plastic surgery, and defended the bizarre facial horns that she has been seen with recently in the interview.

‘They're not prosthetics. They're my bones,’ she insisted, when asked if she had been under the surgeons knife. ‘They come out when I'm inspired.’
