Kristen Stewart opens up on 'English boyfriend' Robert Pattinson

The Breaking Dawn beauty FINALLY gave the game away during an interview with GQ, revealing: 'my boyfriend is English'

Calm yourself Twilight fans. After nearly two years of speculation, Kristen Stewart has seemingly confirmed she and Robert Pattinson ARE an item in a new interview with GQ - referring to the handsome Twilight actor as her ‘English boyfriend.’

The secretive pair have been the subject of are-they, aren't-they rumours since the Twilight Saga began, after their explosive on-screen chemistry looked a bit too good to be true.

And despite being spotted out and about together recently in London, and getting unusually close on the red carpet, the Twilight twosome have gone to great lengths to keep their relationship under wraps.

Now it seems Kristen has accidentally let slip the real status of her relationship with Rob during a new interview with British GQ, referring to the Twi-star as her ‘English boyfriend.’

According to reports, the actress – who’s currently in London filming new fairytale flick Snow White and the Huntsman was heard talking about wanting to explore more of the UK, becauuse 'my boyfriend is English.'

But when the writer asked Kristen to expand on her comments during the interview the following day, the sneaky starlet quickly backtracked, refusing to be drawn on her previous comments.

'I never would have said that if I knew you were interviewing me,’ she remarked, adding when it was pointed out that most of the fans knew anyway: 'So much of my life is so easily googled. I mean, it’s like, come on guys, it’s so obvious!

'I don’t think you realise what a big deal it is for people. Well, it is a big deal,’ she continued. ‘They would be "Oh. My. God". There would also be still a 50/50 split. Some people would still be, "See, told you they’re not together.”

'I don’t worry about it at all. It’s just one of those things. I’m selfish. I’m like, "That’s mine!" And I like to keep whatever is mine remaining that way. It’s a funny little game to play and it’s a slippery slope. I always say to myself I’m never going to give anything away because there’s never any point or benefit for me.'

Speaking of dealing with the press and over-enthusiastic fans, she said: 'It really is not a nightmare, it’s just one of those things. I guarantee whenever I get married or have a baby, everyone is going to want to know my kid’s name and I’m not going to say it for ages. That’s just the way I want to do it. It’ll come out but it won’t have come from me.'

Kristen went on: 'I also have that desire to blurt stuff out, but I’ve learned I can’t do that. Not when you realise the whole world is listening. That’s why perhaps I look so uncomfortable in interviews at times. I mean, we’ve talked about hiding things and I’ve had to get much more adept at that, sadly. But I’m glad I’m not one of those actresses who is just so ready to open up for everyone.'
