Katy Perry was 'not in the mood' to get naked on Orlando Bloom's paddleboard

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom might (sadly) be a thing of the past, but those pictures of the pair paddle boarding on holiday in Sardinia will live on forever.

The shots of Orlando casually gliding on the water completely naked, while his then-girlfriend Katy sat nonchalantly - and, notably, in a bikini - in front of him went viral, and they've both been pretty quiet about exactly what was going on.

However, Katy opened up about that now-famous day in an interview with KIIS FM's Kyle and Jackie O, claiming she was 'just not in the mood' to get nude.

She recently ranked her former lovers during a 72 hour live stream to promote her new album, Witness, and it seems she's on a roll when it comes to discussing her personal life.

'He asked me if I wanted to be [naked] and I was just like, it's one of those things where I was like, "Oh, nah!"' Katy said.

'You know when you're dating someone sometimes, it's exciting to be like, 'Oh, should we try and make out over here in this place?' or what have you, and I was just not in the mood. I saved it for the boat!'

The singer also joked that Orlando stripped off because he was 'just trying to show off for all the people back at the shore.'

Orlando was coerced into discussing the incident with Radio 1 Breakfast Show presenter, Nick Grimshaw, in a recent interview.

'It's been talked about so much I'm over it already,' he blushed.

'My poor son! He's got a lot to live up to... I broke the internet.'
