The pictures are thought to have come from the same series as the first set of photos, which were printed by French Closer magazine, as well as two further foreign publications.

It’s thought as many as 200 unseen snaps of Prince William and Kate Middleton sunbathing on holiday in France exist, including new pictures of Kate changing into bikini bottoms.

But yesterday, a Clarence House spokesman had no comment on the photos.

‘Our stance is the same as before – we aren’t commenting on any further legal action save to say all proportionate responses will be kept under review,’ the rep told America E! news.

This comes after Danish magazine Se Og Hør scrapped plans to print further pictures of the the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, a dramatic U-turn on their position.

Kate Middleton put on a brave face over the weekend to attend the wedding of a family friend in Oxfordshire.

The Duchess recycled a dove-grey Erdem dress for the occasion, which she attended with sister Pippa Middleton, brother James, and parents Michael and Carole.
