Jennifer Lawrence To Star Alongside Christian Bale In New Romantic Drama?

The Oscar-winning actress will reportedly star alongside the British heart-throb in an upcoming film

Jennifer Lawrence has reportedly signed up to star alongside fellow Oscar-winner Christian Bale in an upcoming romantic drama film called The Ends Of The Earth.

Last month, it was revealed that the American actress will join forces with her Silver Linings Playbook director, David O. Russell, once more for the new project, which has been penned by Argo screenplay writer Chris Terrio.

Now it's understood that the director wants Jennifer to star opposite Batman heart-throb Christian in the movie's lead roles. Other hotly tipped contenders for the male part include Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp and Matt Damon.

The film will focus on the story of oil tycoon Ernest Marland who loses his billion-dollar empire after having an affair. Jennifer will play his adopted daughter, Lydie.

The Ends Of The Earth is not the only movie the actress is working on with director David. She will also apparently star alongside Christian in another untitled film about an FBI sting operation in the 1970s called, Abscam, according to IMDB.
