Lawrence, who plays the role of Katniss Everdeen in the film adaptation of the cult teen novels by Suzanne Collins, could even earn ‘much more’ than the $10million figure, depending on the film’s box office success, according to the publication.

The actress, who was paid $500,000 upfront (plus a bonus based on box office performance) for the first film has become a big name after the success of The Hunger Games, which grossed $683.8million worldwide in the spring, earning her the opportunity to renegotiate her contract with studio Lionsgate. Co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth have also reportedly renegotiated their contracts, but will receive smaller raises than Lawrence.
