Jennifer Lawrence’s Hair Gets A 70s Makeover On Set Of New Film

Jennifer Lawrence isn’t bashful when it comes to changing her hair, she previously transformed her golden locks into a raven-hued mane for her role as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games, but her latest look has reached new heights, quite literally.

While on the set of the as yet untitled film about the 1970s Abscam scandal, directed by David O Russell, Jennifer Lawrence was snapped with a stunning head of curls. Her blonde hair was secured on the top of her head allowing ringlets to fall loose and frame her pretty face.

For an added retro edge the actress wore gold hooped earrings and rocked a deep red on her nails. She fought off the Brooklyn chill in a black coat but was forced to remove her tasseled sheepskin-lined boots as filming was about to start. In her other hand she held on tight to her script, no-doubt diligently learning her lines.

After a hectic award season that saw Jennifer Lawrence win an Oscar and Golden Globe for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook she completed reshooting for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. She then wasted no time in getting her teeth into a new project, beginning work in Boston last week.

Phew! Sounds as if she deserves a rest.
