Jennifer Lawrence fans may think otherwise but she doesn’t consider herself a pin up

Jennifer Lawrence’s looks, have helped land her the role of Hollywood’s most talked about lady but she isn’t comfortable being seen that way or is she getting used to the idea of being considered a sex icon.

In an interview with The Sun, she said: ‘As for being a sex symbol, I don’t think of myself as sexy and, obviously, it’s not true.’

Err, has Jennifer Lawrence looked in the mirror recently? While many men will be keen to disagree, the Oscar winner explained the affect being a sex symbol has on her: ‘I’m going to try to push that out of my mind because it makes me queasy.’

Not even becoming the new face of Miss Dior has convinced Jennifer she has one of the most flawless faces in the world.

Speaking of the sensational images from the campaign the actress said: ‘That doesn’t look like me at all. I love Photoshop more than anything in the world. Of course it’s Photoshop — people don’t look like that.’

It’s this very down-to-earth attitude that has earned Jennifer a growing army of admirers and she continues with this approach when discussing her fast ride through Hollywood.

When asked how she felt about her career snowballing she said: ‘When you get a promotion at your job, you don’t go, “God, that was too fast, can I stay in the mailroom?” You kind of take it thankfully. It was fast, but I’m grateful for it.’
