Just last week, footage of Fergie allegedly 'selling' access to her ex-husband Prince Andrew was released in a sting by newspaper News of the World.
Caught on camera, Sarah explained how Prince Andrew met ‘the most amazing people' in his role, saying she could help ‘open doors' for cash, and admitting she was broke. And now the Duchess has opened up about the incident for the first time, admitting she had ‘been drinking' at the time of the meeting.
‘I haven't faced the devil in the face because I was in the gutter at that moment,' she told the American chat show host in the taped interview to be broadcast later today.
‘I'm aware of the fact that I've been drinking, you know, that I was not in my right place.'

Fergie has already apologised for the scandal, admitting she ‘deeply regretted' the incident in a public statement.
And the Duchess used her American interview slot - originally scheduled to promote her latest range of children's books - to frankly discuss the debacle.
