Heroes star Hayden Panettiere has risen to the top of our bikini body envy chart this week after being spotted enjoying the sunshine in Cannes.

Whiling away the hours on Elton John’s yacht with a bevy of girlfriends and one rather closer companion, T4’s Steve Jones, Hayden has showed off the best bikini-ready body of the summer so far. Toned from head-to-toe, the pint-sized actress must have been working out ahead of her touchdown at the Cannes Film Festival, so what’s her secret?
The treadmill and Pilates, according to a recent interview with InStyle magazine. Although we find it hard to believe, Hayden also says her day job, performing stunts in Heroes, helps to hone her physique.

She admits: ‘You know what? I feel pretty comfortable in a bikini now. All girls have their days. Sometimes you feel really good and other days, you’re like, ‘Argh, I’m bloated out. But generally I’m OK.’

But, like all of us, the 19-year-old confesses she is self-conscious about certain body parts. ‘I think I have the same insecurities as most girls. I’ve never had really skinny arms, so whenever I do photoshoots, it becomes a lot about the angles that work with my arms.’
Well, we think you look pretty fab at most angles Miss P and Steve Jones definitely isn’t complaining…
