FIRST LOOK: Robert Pattinson's sizzling new Bel Ami stills

The Twilight star looks oh-so-handsome in the latest set of stills from the long-awaited movie

Ever since the Twilight stars hit the red carpet for this year's final Breaking Dawn premiere, we’ve been missing our daily Robert Pattinson fix. So we were only too delighted when a host of sizzling new R-Patz snaps landed this morning.

The smouldering stills come straight from the set of long-awaited movie Bel Ami, shot way back in 2009 – but yet to be released.

It’s thought R-patz filmed the period-style flick between Twilight movies, and was spotted on location in Budapest, with co-star Uma Thurman.

The movie – which also stars Hollywood beauties Christina Ricci and Kristin Scott Thomas - charts a young man's rise to power in Paris and his manipulation of the city's most wealthy and influential women.

Earlier this year we were worried the movie might never see the light of day, after it stalled during the editing stages with bosses worried Rob’s womanizing character was becoming unmarketable.

‘We were really true to the book and because the guy is basically a s**t who wins everything at the end it's really difficult to market it - especially with me in it,’ Rob told Total Film at the time.

‘Everyone's worried that everyone's going to be thinking, “Oh I want him to be nice, he's got to be nice to all the ladies”’.

But rumour has it the film is set to hit UK screens in March next year.
