Cheryl Cole’s been hard at work touring and filming the X Factor, and has even had a bout of malaria to contend with, but somehow, she’s still found the time to record a catchy new track. And now we’ve got our hands on a sneak peak of the sizzling Promise This video.

Not content with two or even three looks, Cheryl manages to fit in a whopping five costume changes during the three-and-a-half-minute video, smoldering in a series of racy dresses.

The X Factor songstress starts the shoot in a darkened room, where a tall handsome stranger sweeps her off her feet, before donning a racy, Madonna-esq tuxedo for a dramatic dance routine.

Cut to the next scene and Cheryl’s playing ballerina, pirouetting around a moody forest with a muscley dance partner in tow, in a flowing, fairy tale dress.

Mrs C also dons a scene-stealing red flamenco dress and flowing white gown before the song is out, heading up a team of dancers to a backdrop of moody skies.

The arty video – shot just three weeks ago, during her trip to LA – was overseen by director-to-the-stars Sophie Muller, who has worked with Beyonce, Gwen Stefani in the past.

Cheryl is naturally athletic and has a dancer background so she found the shoot really enjoyable,’ a source told the Mirror of Mrs C’s latest video.

‘Sophie is a huge name stateside and has worked with artists including Gwen Stefani and Beyonce, so the whole production is extremely slick. Cheryl looks incredible in it.’
