Dakota Johnson resorts to surprising measures to help deal with tough Fifty Shades Of Grey role, as she joins Jamie Dornan on set in Canada.
Fifty Shades Of Grey may not be an action-packed thriller, but the intense storyline appears to be taking its toll on Dakota Johnson as if it were.
Dakota, who stars opposite heartthrob Jamie Dornan in the film adaptation of E.L James’ bestselling bonkbuster, is said to have put herself on a special juice diet to cope with filming.
Dakota and Jamie have already been spotted smooching as they settle into their passionate roles as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey on set in Vancouver, Canada.
‘This will be a tough movie to film,’ a source told E! News: ‘They have locations that are spread out and they will be filming for three months.
‘They are sometimes starting as early as 6:30am and there are long hours. The juices help them feel great and maintain a high nutritional intake. They energise you and you don’t get the same crash with sugar or coffee. It is a more sustainable energy level.’
Talking about her sizzling role as Anastasia, Dakota told Entertainment Weekly: ‘I just really understand it.
‘I think it’s an incredible love story and that’s why it’s affected so many people. [Author E.L. James] did a really good job of explaining how that just can happen sometimes and you have this chemical pull to someone. Adding in the sec makes it perfect. Sometimes you feel a little bit naughty and that’s okay.’
We can’t wait to see how Dakota brings the steamy 50 Shades role to life. Eee!
